Nursery times and sessions
Admissions and Funding
We are only able to offer places to children from their third birthday. All children become eligible for a funded 15-hour nursery place from the term following their third birthday.
Some families may also qualify for additional free nursery provision through the government’s Extended Hours Funding. If you are eligible, you must apply before the end of the term to access the funding for the following term. You will also need to provide the school with a valid eligibility code.

Please note that additional funded hours can only be allocated and confirmed once this code has been received.
What We Provide
We provide daily snacks of fruit and milk for all children. Parents are asked to supply any personal consumables their child may need during their time at nursery, such as nappies, wipes, and sun cream.
From time to time, we organise optional trips. Parents will be asked to contribute towards the cost of these trips if they wish their child to attend.
The nursery hours run alongside the school opening hours, meaning it is open between 8.45am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.
We offer the following sessions:

Start and end of the week options
Staying at nursery all day can be a big step for some children, and it is important that the children are well-prepared for this to ensure they flourish. It is really important that your child is able to manage their own personal hygiene.
The all-day session will include a lunchtime supervision charge of £4.20 per session. This charge is inclusive of a hot school meal.
Additional sessions (15-hour children)
Once your child is settled into nursery, you will be able to purchase additional sessions. These places are subject to availability and will be allocated in consultation with the nursery staff. These sessions will need to be booked and paid for in advance.
Each additional session is £13.50 per session (a session is defined as a three-hour morning or afternoon slot).
Children accessing Extended Hours Funding (30-hour children)
In the majority of cases, if you are eligible, all the nursery sessions will be funded through Extended Hours Funding and your child will attend full-time (30 hours). However, this does not include the lunchtime session as this is additional to your child’s 30-hour nursery provision.
Lunchtime sessions are charged at £4.20 per session (£21.00 per week) and is inclusive of a hot school meal, which is to be paid for in advance.
If your child’s chosen hours generate fees, these are payable even if your child is absent, including holidays, bank holidays and sickness. Fees are to be paid two weeks prior to the sessions and non-payment of fees will mean we will only provide the hours covered by the free funded hours.
