Proud to be part of

Uniform

We are proud of our school uniform. It is a part of our identity that unites us. It is practical, looks smart and contributes to the children’s feeling of belonging.

As with every other area of school life, we have high expectations about how children should dress when they come to school each day, and we will contact parents and carers if any issues or concerns arise in connection with a child’s uniform or appearance.

Limiting the cost of uniform

We ensure our uniform remains affordable by:

  • Minimising branded items (none are compulsory)
  • Allowing generic alternatives for all uniform items
  • Ensuring items are widely available from supermarkets and retailers
  • Avoiding requirements for: specific cats, bags or footwear branding; additinal uniform for extracurricular activities
  • Avoiding frequent changes to uniform design
  • Ensuring uniform can be passed between siblings where possible
  • Where a branded item is offered (e.g. optional logo jumper), non-branded alternatives are always acceptable.
