SEND and inclusion
Grampian is an inclusive learning environment. Our aim is that all children realise their potential and achieve excellence throughout their time at Grampian Primary Academy.
The Inclusion Team work closely with parents, carers, teachers and other agencies to personalise learning in a way that meets the needs of all children so that they flourish and thrive.
The school’s SEN co-ordinator (SENCo) is Caroline Spooner. She can be contacted at cspooner@grampian.anthemtrust.uk or on 01332 765546.
An inclusive approach
Our curriculum seeks to achieve equity and equality for all children by explicitly addressing the disadvantage experienced by families in our community.
As a school, we are able to pre-empt the gaps in knowledge, skills and experiences that some children have when they join us. We seek to close these gaps at multiple levels: the curriculum, the teaching offer, interventions and support.
